Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 from February 27, 2010 to Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small community situated on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's Island. Her teacher encouraged her to try out for the role of Anne in the school's annual production. After trying out her options, she was eventually the lead for Anne of Green Gables. The show was a recipient of an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to study at York University's theatre Program, where she graduated in 2000 with a degree in Fine Arts. Over the past 20 years that followed, Brugel has landed roles on more than 60 productions on both screens, drawing the most attention when she was offered the role of Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel is the only Canadian in the Season 1 cast of the show as well as appearing only on occasion, was the only Canadian.

Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her versatility by performing in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed for her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the documentary film All the Way, which earned her the respect she was due as an actor.
