Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her versatility by performing in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed for her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the documentary film All the Way, which earned her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind was recently finished filming for the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is set to be released mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March after a long career as a scientist for India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a housewife. Aditya Rao works as a merchant navy engineer, is her older sibling. Bachchan's brother produced and co-wrote Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her high school in Mumbai following her move there together with the family. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she finished her secondary schooling in one year, before she began at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she was awarded a 99% mark on the H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she studied ballet and music for 5 years. Her favourite topic was Zoology. Bachchan was an undergraduate student in architecture in 1994, when she won the title of Miss World. This title pushed her into the world of modeling's rapid pace. She received attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as an L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The two first films of her career were Aur Pyaar ho Gaya and Iruvar. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both films were a departure from the typical Bollywood format. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's most successful films. The film was also the first film to screen at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film she starred in that earned her praise. The film is a suspense inspired by Rabindranath tagore's novel. Bachchan was the first Indian actor to be a part of the Cannes Film Festival's jury that same year. Bachchan played featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and star power of Bachchan were brought to the first English-language major film. She returned to Bollywood was in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she made Provoked: An True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan is an Bollywood actor and often co-star. He's also the son Amitabh Bachchan.
