Selena Gomez, an actress and singer with a huge following worldwide. One of the shows she's been a part of and which has the most popularity was the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie's real name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Parents are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. The mother of Selena was just sixteen when Selena became a mother. When she was 9 she found her first work as a showgirl when she took on the character as Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among numerous children who played with Barney, the famous human-like pink dinosaur. Selena contributed to several episodes in season 7 and 8. Between 2001 and 2003, she was a part of the cast. Selena was not the only actor to appear in Barney and His Friends in this time period. Demi Loveto also worked on the show. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned in several films and television shows, however, she did not achieve much results. In 2003, she had a minor role in Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over), and played Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. Additionally, in 2006 she played Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. She played the role and composed a tune.
