Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for many years. He is most known for the roles he performed in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". Since his time in university, Christopher Meloni has been attracted to the world of acting. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and on television but it's the characters portrayed on small screens that have given him popularity. He's been able to seamlessly play the roles of characters from both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. In his very first TV production, he played a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD Investigator. His performances on small screens are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes, which have become a signature and helped portray tough characters with charisma. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
