Bernadette Dezzara (born on February 28, 1948, on the 28th of February 1948 in Ozone Park Queens New York) is a famous American actor, singer, and author of children's tales. Through a career that has spanned over five decades, she's appeared in musical theatre film and on television, along with performing in solo concerts and recordings. She's been nominated for seven Tony Awards and won two, as well as 8 Drama Desk Awards. 4 of her Broadway cast albums on which she has starred have won Grammy Awards. Peters began her stage career as a kid, then at the age of a teenager in 1960s. The 1970s were when she was acting in films as well as on television.
